Review summary

After waiting over 15 months from booking the 7 night cruise, we finally boarded in Seward and immediately fell in love. The ship is nearly identical to the Summit, which we had recently cruised in the Caribbean, so we lost no time in getting our bearings.

This time around, though, we were in a Concierge Balcony, and we definitely enjoyed the perks: Priority Boarding, daily canapes, access to the concierge, and more. The food, as always, was amazing.

Ship tip

We made friends on the second day of the cruise, and our daily meeting spot became the Martini Bar. The waitstaff quickly learned our regular orders and took care of us. The coffee bar (Cafe Al Bacio) was another frequently visited location - yum!

We did the three hour hike on a glacier after a helicopter ride to the Mendenhall Glacier. My legs were sore afterwards, but WOW! What a truly amazing experience!
