We went to alaska in may of 2010 and it was a great trip with our friends. We had a lot to do on the ship.

The food was good. It was not anything special but it was always good and fresh. We were not able to get into the select dining that we wanted though because their is only a certain number of people that are allowed in and we were too late to get on the list when it was filled up.

The room has a huge window. Glad we didn't pay for the balcony.

the bear excursion. It was kind of pricy for the excursion but not much to do here. We also did the tribal dance. My husband loved it.

suspension bridge and gold panning. The bridge was ok but just a bridge that costs a lot of money to get on if you don't pay for it with the ticket price. We liked the gold panning when we got 40.00 back in gold for our tickets.

mendenhall glacier and whale watching. We were kind of bummed we didn't have more time for the glacier. We took more time on the whale tour. If we knew icy straight pointe didn't have much to do we would have did the whale watching there instead and took more time at the mendenhall glaxier, very beautiful.

Pros: The number of stops at port and only 1 sea day

Cons: One day we had a day at a port that didn't have much to do and it was way, way too long to be at that port.
