Review summary

Nice Ship. Very elegant in nature. Overall we had a great time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent. Only thing we did not like was the 2 hour + dinners and the start time for the dinner was 6:00 pm. We like to generally be in and out in an hour or so. That way we have more time at night to do things.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
First night show was horrible, but it got better from there. The singers and dancers did three shows and they were all very good. Would have liked to see more variety acts- jugglers, comedians, etc. They had an acapela group, the Tonics, which were not that good.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Very good. Could use some outdoor water slides, etc. for the kids. This boat is more for an older crowd. However, with that said, our kids liked this better than Carnival, except for the lack of a water slide.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Friendliness and willingness to help was first rate. Very complimentary. Always smiling and very pleasant.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Good Layout. Very Clean. Ship is ready to be updated. It's been 7.5 years. Crew was constantly at work to keep it nice, but it's getting time for a major overhaul.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Nice. Very good cabin steward. We stayed in the Concierge Class which was very nice as far as service. Room was average size for a cruise ship.

Ports of call

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Shopping is not that great unless you are looking for jewelry. We really liked Coki Beach. The snorkeling and rustic feel was great!

Casa De Campo, Dominican Republic

They need to ditch this port!

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Lots of fun. The kids had a blast. Beach was very nice. Flea market was lots of fun to shop at.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Went to the Old Fort. This was very cool!

Pros: Food & Service were excellent. Kids enjoyed the Fun Factory program.

Cons: Ports of Call (Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Casa de Campo, & Ladabee) were okay and a bit subdued except for Ladabee Haiti was very nice!
