ALl veyr good. In taking now 25 cruises this was the best cruise director. British guy called Dave. Funny, infromative, attentive and available to all.

Children's Programs

Just wife and I cruised

Service and Staff

Room stewardess Ofealia was excellent. Restaurant - BLU- had great staff bit professional, attentive and welcoming. Menu wasn't that great. Nothing outstanding and not enough choices so we asked for the main dining room menu on vaious nights.

Ship Quality

Areas were laid out well for this ship which is old by others in the celebrity group. However it was certainly clean and well managed.

Cabin / Stateroom

Somewhat small. We expected Aqua class to be an upgrade from a regular cabin with balcony, it wasn't. Yes, there was plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space but overall it gave the impression of being small. Aqua Class didn't present anything extra except the separate dining room. This was my 5th and my wife's 6th Celebrity cruise. The way Aqua Cass was presented it raised expectations but really, if anything, it was disappointing and not worth the upgrade as couldn't distinguish what the upgrade was from Concierge Class. A free bottle of Prosecco and 3 early morning classes in the gym with free entrance to the Japanese Gardens did nothing for this 72 and 73-year-old couple. However, the staff and the cleanliness were all excellent

Ship tip

Ask lots of questions about what you are getting for the various class options presented. I found our booker, Maritzka at to be excellent and answered all my questions but perhaps I should ahve had more questions to ask. I'll know better when I call to book the next cruise and that will be soon. I was happy to get the on-baord spend credit from for our loyalty.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

We have a place in Ft Lauderdale and although permanent home is in London we stay regularly in FLL and it is easy to board ship, convenient, close and secure.

Nassau, Bahamas

Visited Atlantis but not enough time to pay to enter and enjoy a full day. Didn't have the info in advance. probably our fault for not doing more prep work.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

Fine to stop over for a few hours on land...Been here before...Nice port facilities.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Yes took a ship's excursion. It was very strenuous. We are a healthy and active two-some in our 70s but it was not fully explained how strenuous this would be. Enjoyed it though. Taught us a lesson to again do more prep work.

St. John's, Antigua

Felt a little over-powered by all the locals wanting to offer tours. taxis and trinkets...heavy going...A bit like Jamaica but people less intimidating and friendlier. Island lovely and been here many years ago.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Enjoyed this stop more than the rest. Would return here for a separate holiday. Warm people and felt secure.

Fantastic...Up and had breakfast and then able to walk off and collect suitcases in hall and all we had to do was present our faces to the camera and go outside to grab an Uber. All very seamless...Great!!
