Review summary

Going in September was a plus. The weather was great and most of the shops nd the ship were running 50% off sales or better. Loved how the captain set the ship for both sides to view Hubbard glacier. Everyone need to experience Alaska at least once.

Mostly excellent but a little repetitive. Drink plans are a little too high in price. .Room service made many errors on our orders. Do not order via the TV set!

Great entertainment in the evenings. Loved the comedians and the Mountie presentations. Hard to get to the 7pm show in time if you ate in the formal dining room.

The waiters were and cabin staff we had were excellent (Wilson, Roger, & Dennis). However, the first excursion was a organizational disaster due to the staff being uninformed and confused.

Bigger than I thought it would be. Definitely get a balcony for Alaska!!

Ship tip

Voice your concerns and issues. Most of the staff especially the higher level staff want to know where they fall short and work to resolve issues. I complained to Luigi the cruise director and he immediately took steps to resolve our frustration.

very easy. We did the self debarkation, the only thing that could have went better was if they would have let us know we could have got off sooner than publicized.
