Review summary

While the Celebrity Infinity is an older ship, she is still a beautiful lady. It is easy to learn your way around, there was plenty of seating options around and about the ship, there were plenty of towels and blankets of which on this trip we used both. The weather was fantastic and we understand unusual, but we'll take it. The entertainment was superb. Both the headliners and the Celebrity entertainers were...entertaining. Of course, the food was excellent. We enjoyed prime rib, lamb, salmon, and lobster.  Our cruise only had three stops still we saw many beautiful places in Alaska. My only disappointment was the port area in Juneau. I thought we had landed in St. Thomas; what with diaminds International and such greeting us. It was not what I expected to see. Still we had a great cruise and hope to do this again.

This is Aqua class, it gets you an upper deck and the Blu dining room. The size is the same as another balcony stateroom. Save your money and use it for tours. Whales, Eagles, and bears are worth it.

Ship tip

Book excursions online for the best times. Don't miss the zip line in Icy Strait Point. Wait for Ketchikan to buy souvenirs.

She was built in 2001 and was refurbished last October. We are looking forward to our first Celebrity Infinity cruise in August rt Vancouver. We live in the Seattle area and going up a day before. Have read a lot of reviews and the vast majority are very positive . Glad you enjoyed your cruise.

Who is the lecturer giving the Alaskan nature talks? Best place on ship from which to view Hubbard glacier? Thanks!
