Review summary

I have never been on a large cruise ship before and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that the "cheap" cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and very well appointed. All of the staff were polite, friendly, smiling, and efficient. They spoiled us.

All gourmet, excellent variety and choices. C'est magnifique!

Entertainment

The dance classes were a little contrived, but everyone else enjoyed them. We are experienced dancers and found the classes well below our level.

Children's Programs

We did not travel with children, but many people did. We did feel that perhaps certain areas of the ship should be restricted to adults only at certain times. For some reason, there were entire packs of young children roaming around unattended.

Make seeing a glacier up close a priority. We wasted time with a city tour first and were unable to hike the trail to the glacier for lack of time.

The Irish Times Pub was very nice. We sat by the window and watched the people go by. Not a lot of time in port because we wanted to get back to the ship for dinner.
