Having cruised with Celebrity before, we were disappointed with this cruise. They seem to always be "selling" something. The main dinner setting had poor service so you would purchase the specialty restaurants. Little things, missing buttons on the elevators, rusty parts showing on the veranda. However, take the "behinds the scenes" tour of the kitchen, laundry, engineering and bridge. That on ship tour was very interesting!!!

Sailing on Celebrity Equinox is a great way to enjoy the views of the water and ports. The crew members are fantastic - from the buffet staff to the main dining room staff, the stateroom attendants, the production cast members, the cruise director and of course, Captain Kate. The entertainment was over the top - great comedians, vocalists, musicians, the Equinox orchestra - enjoyed every show that we went to. Will definitely continue sailing with Celebrity cruises.

Disappointed. The average age of people must be around 65 or older. The music was extremely loud in most locations. There was little beat to the music, only a continuous beat of the drum (LOUD). The drum beat continuous, about every 2 seconds. Even at the bars the musicians were loud. There were few times you could relax without loud music. The porter for our stateroom was great.

Entertainment was by far the star of the ship..amazing talent.. staff was very accommodating.

Get a balcony room & enjoy the view, the staff & many options of entertainment & food. We loved meeting guests from all over the world. Equinox is a wonderful ship. Captain Kate was outstanding...good communication, humorous, accessible. We were shocked to see her shake hands as we left the ship. What a woman!

I loved this cruise except that, as always, there are not enough deck chairs, and deck attendants will NOT bump people off even if the chair is left unattended (covered in a towel) for hours.

I'll start with Captain Kate. How impressive! She has a great sense of humor and we looked forward to her daily messages with her nautical nuggets and her "Confuscius says". And her riddles made us make sure to listen so we didn't miss anything! She is very visible to the passengers. Great job! The cruise Director Dan France and his team did a great job. Enjoyed the antics of Jenna and Rachel. Great job, team! Our cabin steward, Jason, was fantastic! He kept the cabin top-notch, made us feel good about being there, helped us out with a gift delivery for our friends - overall, he made the experience GREAT! The dining room serving team - that team MADE OUR DAY! I am not very comfortable in the dining room chairs (just not right-sized), and the team made sure that every day, there was a pillow in my chair WHEN I ARRIVED for my comfort. They were all personable, on the ball, and made sure our wish was their command. We made sure that we were able to get this team every evening - and on our next cruise, would ask for them again! The food in the Ocean View Cafe was always good, fresh, and plentiful. After taking the Inside Access tour onboard, I found out just how fresh it all stays! I very much enjoyed the Inside Access tour. It was very informative and the extra insight in to the operations made me have a greater appreciation for what goes on behind the scenes that make our days so easy to enjoy. Our main disappointment was shore excursions, which I have not let affect the scores on the overall cruise. We had issues that could have been prevented and we'd like them addressed. We booked two scuba diving trips, months in advance. At no time were we asked about medications or told that a special doctor would need to provide permission for the dive. This caused the scuba diving trips to be cancelled - and they were the main focus for my husband on this trip. The Buck Island Snorkeling trip at St Croix was also a major disappointment. It was twice as expensive as any of the other snorkeling trips that we did. Most of the time was spent in transportation - NOT snorkeling. In the 4 hour period of time, we were in the water less than one hour. This was a ridiculous cost - $114 for the trip - for very little snorkeling time. Due to the higher price, Thought this trip was going to be something special. HUGE disappointment. (And this trip was booked in place of the Scuba Diving trip that was cancelled.) In St Thomas, we booked the scenic harbor cruise. We were supposed to depart at 9 a.m. When we reached our meeting spot, we were told that the boat had broken down and a substitute would be loaded around 9:45. This trip was NOTHING like the brochure said it would be. There was NO tour. There was NO bar onboard. It turned out to be a taxi to the downtown shopping area, which we could have taken for $4 per person. We were GREATLY disappointed. To be fair, I need to say that although some of the excursions were major disappointments, some were extremely enjoyable and well worth the money. We thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling trips at Antigua and St Lucia. Our most enjoyable trip of all was the Jolly Roger Pirate Ship in Barbados. The crew was GREAT, the snorkeling and swimming were so much fun, and they provided a great day of entertainment. Best money that we spent on ANY excursion! We would do this one again. (Great rum punch, too!) Every day on this cruise was enjoyable. Hopefully we can work through the issues with the excursions and not have ANY sad events on the next cruise.

This was our first time cruising with celebrity and we were extremely satisfied with the ship, the food and the entertainment!

EVEN THOUGH THIS CRUISE WAS NOT MEANT FOR OUR GROUP AGE, IF YOU ARE OVER 70 THIS IS THE BEST CRUISE YOU CAN TAKE. THE BEST THING ON THIS SHIP WAS THE CREW MEMBERS.THEY WERE OUTSTANDING!! This is my number ten cruise with Celebrity. Just get on board and have fun.

I liked my cabin, however, every night about 2:30am or 3am my sleep was interrupted by a lid clanging sound. This sound lasted maybe 15 minutes each night. I would wake up the next day feeling tired. I never could figure out the source of this noise.

My Skymiles agent, Conner Cross, was very efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, fair, engaging, funny and followed through on everything he promised to do prior to sailing. He has assisted me two times and I will call on him for future travel. I have sailed 11 other cruises with four other cruise lines and on Celebrity three times. This third cruise was everything I love about Celebrity and now stands as my Best Cruise Ever. That says it all. I loved the Equinox which is a beautiful, tastefully decorated ship. Even so, she will be going for a complete "re-do" next year. I look forward to sailing on her again after she's back in service.We had Captain Kate McCue, who is the first American woman to Captain a cruise ship. On the last morning, she was outside our ship-despite the sideways rain & strong cold winds-shaking everyone's hand and saying goodbye to all cruisers. Her daily messages from the Bridge were a delight and her personality was always so cheerful, welcoming, and sincere. She was present at many events on the ship. I hope to sail with her again in the future. The staff are always eager to help in any way. My cabin steward, waiter, waiter's assistant, bartender and even the ladies', restroom attendants remember names and are always smiling a genuine smile. I would happily take this very same cruise again and hope to see familiar staff and Captain Kate again on future cruises.

The stars were in order to have the best men asst us! First Magesh was one of the best we’ve ever had. So attentive, well spoken, used our name from the first day & our room was spotless everyday-every time. 1-10 rating/ he is a 20! Second Woutlais & Namdev. Wow! Awesome gentlemen. They were always smiling, used our name even when they saw us elsewhere on the ship. Well spoken , very watchful over our needs. Again rating each man on a scale 1-10. They are both a 20.

Fabulous ship and crew. We had Captain Kate who is incomparable.

great cruise, nice people, good food, good entertainment and staff ready and willing to see you have everything you need.

captain is a blast!, Was very visible, great sense of humor, have an officer check buffet temps to see if they corrected, if the food is warm, don't eat it, has to be 144 degrees. Raw products have to be 39 degrees or lower.

Loved Celebrity! This was our first Celebrity cruise, done all the others. They were incredible!

Beautiful ship, great captain, terrific crew, best food, we have nothing to complain about.
