Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at Luminae a restaurant for suite guests. They provided a specialty menu and also could get anything from the main dining menu. The menu had a lot of French food titles that were a little confusing. Everything was very tasty, but sometimes a little bland. Outstanding service at every meal.

Le Petit Chef at Qsine

5 out of 5

Loved this restaurant with a surprise animated show! The food was outstanding. We enjoyed 2 different shows and menus both were fabulous!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The pool areas had very comfortable loungers. Towels were easy to access. The fitness center had a nice variety of machines and easy access to wipes for cleaning. They also provided cool towels, ice water and complimentary head phones. Deck 15 had a huge grassy area but looked very shabby. It was disappointing that we could not use the area most days

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The evening shows had a lot of typical lounge singers, one impressionist and one comedian. I enjoyed the NYC3 singing group, that sang more modern upbeat tunes. We also saw one musical act “Topper” which had first rate singers and dancers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The ship capacity was about 50% so there were an abundance of crew keeping everything clean and sanitized. Our room steward Iman was outstanding. Always accommodating our requests and very quick and efficient when servicing our cabin.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We sailed right before Christmas and every day they would decorate a new area. The best part was the Atrium that was set up with a gingerbread village. Most of the ships art pieces were strange but the ship is due for a major renovation soon. Beware the chairs on deck 5 by the cafe are very low to the ground and not comfortable. There was a Apple consultant on board in the computer tech area. There were daily classes on using Apple products. All the public computers were Apple products. The onboard shopping was minimal. There were several $10 sales.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The bed and furniture were clean and comfortable. The suite had a walk in closet with a large dresser. There was a small in wall cabinet that was very narrow and awkward to use. The bathroom had a small cabinet for toiletries. Beware, no usb outlets and only one working outlet. We had to juggle using the one outlet for chargers and hair dryers.

Ship tip

No USB outlets in cabins
