Review summary

This was my first Celebrity cruise, but it will not be my last. The service and food quality far exceeded that of my 2 prior cruises.

If I could rate the embarkation process a 10, I would. Fantastic...we essentially walked on to the ship.

Food and Dining

Excellent quality in the main dining room. Buffet was better than expected. Specialty dining was not so special. The ambience in the Tuscan grill was good, as was the service, but I thought that the food quality was no better than that in the main dining room.

Onboard Activities

Did not participate in much. I do have to say that the talk given by the captain on the building of Solstice class ships was excellent. Several times during the cruise, Captain Tasos stole the show. He is quite a comedian in addition to being a skilled leader.
