We will definitely sail this vessel again on a longer cruise. Everything a cruise vacation is supposed to be. Well done staff of the Equinox!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
From the hotel shuttle to the deck of the Equinox...ten minutes. Ft. Lauderdale really has embarkation down to a science.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We had a three day specialty dining package and elected to dine At Tuscan twice and Murano once. Very good! The food and service was outstanding. I read somewhere that if you had a table for two in the main dining room, the other tables were close. I did find that to be true. Four inches between tables wasn’t enough for privacy. It didn’t wreck out vacation, but we chose not to return to the main dining room. The buffet had everything we wanted or needed. Service was wonderful and finding seating wasn’t an issue. We had table side prepared lobster in Murano by out waiter and it was superb!
Onboard Activities

We really relaxed and did activities on our own pace. The ship was clean and the staff very helpful.

The views from an aft cabin are breathtaking. I would book this cabin again in a heartbeat!
Ship tip
There is a reason Equinox is rated so highly. They know what they are doing! Do not hesitate to book this vessel.
We stayed at the Rodeway Inn Airport/Seaport. Clean, good staff. Breakfast was good. I can’t say that about the dinner. How bad can you wreck a hamburger? Today’s go to menu is all Tex-Mex (taco’s etc.), I’m not a fan. I ordered a hamburger rare. Let’s put it this way...next time I’ll stay in the room and eat peanut butter and jelly.
We went exploring on our own and figured we’d kick into their economy. There was a young man preforming in the square that was very good. We enjoyed ourselves.
