Review summary

Celebrity is in danger of losing its premium status through cost cutting measures. Cleanliness, perks for loyalty members are not like the past...they need to regroup and rethink their customer base rather than lose them to true premium lines.

There was a mandatory drill which delayed process. Large crowd, not enough seating, could not understand PA announcements.

Corners have been cut. Waiters serving too many tables, no time to talk. They seemed annoyed if you wanted to stay a bit from printed menus. No peppermills for caesar salad offered.

Pools were okay. No ice cream available outside.

Mixed. Special guests were entertaining but main production show is a confusing bag of nonsensical players and no sense story.

See above. Crew was visible but captain didn't speak at public events a d his louderspeaker announcements were impossible to understand.

Unless the quality and service dropped last year we didn't experience anything like you've described. The ship was spotless, service excellent as always, the food great. Speaking of perks, we had a virtually all-inclusive trip with a nice OBC, fully covered beverage package and prepaid gratuities. I think we spent just $16 extra. It will be a sad day if Celebrity is going to lose its standards but I haven't read many negative reviews about the Equinox. Mostly people love her.
