Review summary

This was a wonderful cruise. The two sea days at the beginning and 2 sea days at the end were a perfect way to "book-end" the cruise. The 6 port stops was a lot, but we enjoyed it. I can not say enough positive things about the staff on the ship - the service was excellent.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food and food choices were great.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There is something for everyone to do.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows, singers, performers were outstanding. Even the magician was awesome.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I can not say enough about how great the service was. Each and every crew member we encountered was extremely friendly, professional and polite.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean and beautiful. It's not too big and it's not too small.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin is not big, but it is more than comfortable for 2. We were one floor below the pool deck, so we occasionally heard lounge chairs being moved, usually in the early morning or evening. It wasn't a nuisance, but you could hear it.

Ship tip

Go to the specialty dining. The food everywhere was great, but the specialty restaurants are more intimate and quieter. Use the Persian Garden if you are Aqua Class, it's wonderful.

Ports of call

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
They just had a storm the day before, so some streets and stores were closed. But, St Thomas is a great port overall.

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

5 out of 5
Great stop. Very easy to book a tour off the ship. Decent places to go to right at the port.

St. John's, Antigua

4 out of 5
We went to a "resort" beach. The beach and water was nice, the "resort bar" was questionable. Stick with a cruise ship tour at this port.

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
Bridgetown is a fairly large town, so getting anywhere on foot isn't recommended. Either book a tour from the ship or when you get off the ship - be careful you will get different prices from different people for the same tours. But, the taxi drivers/tour operators were fantastic. We spent the day at the beach and it was clean, safe and the facilities were very good.

Castries, St. Lucia

4 out of 5
We took a tour that ended up being mostly driving. So, if you book a tour be sure you know where it's going. The roads are winding and bumpy. We went to St. Lucia on a prior cruise and went to the beach. I would recommend that over going to the Pitons. The drive was 80% of the time we were out.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
St. Maarten is one of our favorite ports. Super friendly people and lots of things to do.

Disembarkation

So easy. We got out of our cabin at 8am and were off the ship and in our car by 9am. Super easy port.
