Review summary

Where do I begin? This by far has been the most wonderful vacation we ever did. The crew on the Equinox is outstanding! We upgraded to concerige class. The embarkation was easy, nice lunch in the dining area. Snacks brought to our stateroom every afternoon. Our state room attendant Edy was friendly and made our stay special. You have to go to the martini bar and visit Putu who does his Cocktail moves and the rest of the martini bar crew. They really made our trip unforgettable! We never went to any other bar once we saw met this crew. I completely understand why the Equinox is rated #1 for so long. Amazing! The food, the decor, the personality and attitudes were top notch. Disembarkation was smooth and fast. We have been told that starting our first cruise with Celebrity Equinox was setting the bar high and spoiling ourselves. We truly believe this was true. Again amazing! When you stop by the martini bar tell Putu we said hi!

Regina, thank you so much for answering my question.

When we sailed the Equinox last month it was our 11th cruise but first with Celebrity. You are correct in stating that you’ve set the bar high with your first experience. When booking future cruises I will always look for a Celebrity option first before going back to NCL, RCCL, or Carnival.

Lola we feel the same way! We can't wait to go "home" again. We didn't want to get off the ship.

Rtsquared, we only saw a few on our deck. There was a set on one door that had a picture of each couple and it said this is us. Really cute. We saw some for birthdays etc. 😊

We will be sailing on the Equinox in November. We are looking forward to it. I've heard peop ki e on some cruise lines decorate their cabin doors. Out of curiosity, did many people decorate doors on this ship?

ginadibardi So we have been told we spoiled ourselves with this as our first cruise! It was true! You are going to love it and never want to go to another lol. If you get on the boat early do the ship tour. You learn a lot of info and the earlier one is the best, less traffic on the boat!

Hi Phyllis! We did not need reservations. They typically do a show at 7 pre dinner and 9 after dinner. Only days it was different if we were at port late. Unfortunately you can not view the info on the app till you are onboard. But the app can be used the whole cruise even without internet package.

We are on Equinox again in January in Aqua Class...highly recommend Blu restaurant for food and service and wouldn't do any less now. No theatre reservations required.

Hello, sounds wonderful. We will be sailing on Equinox next month. Can you tell me if you have to make reservations for the shows in the theater? Or just go? RC's Oasis takes reservations, but it's hard to find that info. TY

Shhh, lets please keep the Celebrity fleet as our little secret! We don’t want the carnival and norwegian riff-raff infesting our cruiseline.

Thanks for the great information!! We'll be sailing in March..First cruise!!
