Most of the veranda staterooms are now equipped with half windows that electronically raise and lower. I prefer the feeling of actually being outside in a traditional veranda room with a sliding glass door.

Try and get a deal that includes WiFi because paying on the ship is very expensive. Most people cannot do without it nowadays. We did find the WiFi very patchy.

Not sure I would recommend this ship for young families but for young adults on up its a dream. Would be an outstanding Honeymoon experience for Newlyweds or those celebrating an anniversary.
