It was our first transatlantic and I was concerned about the weather. We had wonderful sea days and were able to enjoy the outside every day except for one. The ports were varied and interesting. I wouldn’t hesitate to do another transAtlantic cruise in the future.

Enjoyed the outdoors by the pool, hot tub, and walking track. The track is on Different levels which makes it more interesting and about 4.5 laps per mile. Fitness area was adequate. The Retreat area was outstanding.
Entertainment

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone treated us extremely well. I can’t say enough nice things about how efficient and professional and friendly the staff were throughout the cruise.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship being brand new is absolutely stunning and pristine. Restrooms were attended and always spotless. All the large areas are attractive but different from some of the more traditional ships. It is a new layout and a new class of ship however if I have the chance to sale on this ship again or any in that class I will certainly do so.
Cabin / Stateroom

Initially we had booked a concierge class cabin. We decided a few weeks before the cruise to upgrade to a suite. I have never stayed in a suite before. This suite gives you lots more room and has a traditional balcony. I was a bit concerned about the magic carpet. I didn’t need to be concerned at all about the magic carpet. You don’t even know when it is moving. It is sometimes on the 16th level, the 14th level or the fifth for dining in the evening. On this cruise It was not used on a lower level for tendering. Balconies on deck 12 are huge. We had two chaise lounges and two chairs and a table. There is always an overhang of about 6 feet when you are on that level just by the design of the ship. The magic carpet then extends out farther so your view is impinged a bit but not enough that I would stay away from that cabin. Our room steward Sharma did a great job and it was cleaned in a timely manner.
Ship tip
get early to the Club for seats to see the acrobats.
Hadn’t been there in years so King’s Wharf was new to us. We disembarked at 6:30 so shops were closed but still fun to walk aRound. Next morning went into Hamilton to see how that had changed. Took the ferry. Very nice with lots of shops.
Took a private excursion with Funtastic Tours. Gave us a great island tour unfortunately both lakes looked green since it was an overcast day. Didn’t dampen our spirits though. We went to the pineapple plantation, had lunch and wine tasting also. Very nice.
Loved, loved, loved this port. Took a tour with Spain Day Tours who took us to some viewpoints and also a tour of the historical areas. We had a wonderful lunch of tapas and then visited the Guggenheim. Our guide was Gaetano. He was great!
Another private tour with Overlord tours. Yannick was our guide and he was phenomenal. We drove down to the Normandy beaches. Visited Utah Beach, Pont du Hoc and had lunch in Sainte-Mère-Eglise, saw Omaha Beach and the American cemetery. It was very memorable and emotional. We were privileged to hear Eisenhower's Son speak at the cemetery.
Watch the prices they change. You might be able to secure a suite through their move up offer which comes out a month or so before the cruise. You are going to have a wonderful time!
