Review summary

I have read a lot about infinite veranda cabins and reviews are mixed. This was our first experience with this type of cabin. It was perfect for Alaska since we could be in balcony area and not open the window until we approached something we wanted to take pics of. If this was a true veranda we would have been freezing. It also offers a lot more space in the cabin with window closed. Cruise was mostly adults which I appreciated. Highly recommend this ship and itinerary. We normally cruise with their sister line, Royal Caribbean and this was our first time on celebrity. Felt a bit more upscale. These are the definite pluses over Royal. I really liked that the photographers didn’t hound us to do photos and the service people in restaurants didn’t annoy us with giving a good review. “10 is good. Anything lower is fail”

We did the island wings float plane to the misty fjords. It was not through cruise line and was spectacular!

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

We woke up early to view all the splendor. Ordered room service and ate in our infinite verandah so we wouldn’t miss any of the scenery! Weather and views were breathtaking!

We just got off this cruise yesterday. Was sort of shocked yet totally thrilled that we didn’t encounter one photographer during the entire week. I saw the all-digital photo gallery but never a photographer.

So glad to see someone giving a 5-star to the seaplane tour in Ketchikan, Misty Fjords, which is what I booked! Thank you for solidifying the choice I made! Missed out on booking the helicopter tour to the top of a glacier. I’m sure that was superb!
