Surprisingly easy, given the number of people at the pier!

I thoroughly enjoyed all my dining experiences! I was also pleasantly surprised at how many gluten free and no added sugar options were available and clearly labeled! The Oceanview Cafe offered so many varieties for breakfast and lunch! It was fun to try new things and have access to some comfort foods! We ate our dinners in the Cosmopolitan Restaurant. We enjoyed the fine dining atmosphere, with delicious options every night!

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
10 Stars! All of the staff were always friendly and polite! They helped us feel comfortable and cared for in this new atmosphere, our first cruise! Here are a few staff that we encountered regularly:
Aristotle, our cabin steward, was always dependable, friendly, and helpful. The cabin was always clean and tidy!
Santi, assistant waiter Cosmopolitan Restaurant, was delightful! She was very personable and attentive to our needs. She made sure that we were offered a variety of gluten free dessert options every night, even if none were on the menu!
Glenn, waiter, Cosmopolitan Restaurant, was very personable! He was always attentive to us and helped us feel very welcomed!
Glenn and Santi made a great team and I am always grateful when staff are especially attentive and understanding of food sensitivities!
Vishal, assistant Maitre'd, Cosmopolitan Restaurant, was available and helpful. He was very gracious and kind with my husband's attempts to speak Hindy.
Dexter, Sommalier, Cosmopolitan Restaurant, was personable and kind.
We enjoyed getting to know "our staff" at Cosmopolitan!
Winda, host, Cosmopolitan, was also helpful and considerate when making reservations.
They all remembered our names and cabin numbers, when appropriate, making us feel very special!
Patt, Massage Therapist, Spa, offered an amazing massage experience.
Janet, Deck 14, hand sanitizer station, was always smiling and welcoming and fun!
Pamela, Deck 14, ladies room, was always helpful and welcoming!
Sameer, was helpful in explaining disembarkation procedures!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was always clean and staff were attentive to safety issues, making sure any spills or wet areas were attended to promptly to avoid slips. My one suggestion would be to offer water bottle filling stations on each deck. I am in the habit sipping water throughout the day and did find it a it cumbersome to travel from deck 3 to 14 to get filtered water. Some of the signage for the deck 3 cabins was a little unclear. I found this was due to galley of odd numbered cabins being broken up by Guest Relations. Once we found our way we were fine, but the first few times we made several laps around deck 3!
Cabin / Stateroom

I found the cabin to be perfect for our needs. The mattress and bedding were extremely comfortable. I appreciated the control panel for lights and temperature. I also loved that we could view the ship's ocean cam on the TV in our room!
Ship tip
Take lots of magnetic hooks, the walls are metal! These helped keep our gear, coats, raincoats, hats out of the closet and close at hand!
Beautiful port and walking distance to the town! Shops are open when the cruise ships are in! Found shops with local designs and artisans! Tatoosh Wilderness Kayaking Excursion was an adventure! Kayaking was done from a remote island by Southeast Exposure. Their team made sure our needs were met!
We enjoyed our time in Juneau! Transportation from the town to our pier was accessible and easy! The Alaska State Museum was informative and interesting. The Salmon Bake allowed us a closer look at the rain forest with a short walk to a beautiful waterfall. The food was delicious and the atmosphere welcoming! All of the food and tables were covered, perfect for the rain forest! The Gold Creek team were also very welcoming and fun!
We enjoyed Skagway. The transportation to and from the pier was a bit confusing, due a rockslide. The Klondike Trail Bike excursion was a wonderful way to see to the mountains and vistas in the area. The Sockeye Cycle team was prepared with anything that we might have needed from extra layers to water bottles. They were knowledgable and encouraging!
