Booking through Orbit was a big mistake, I was set for a different cruise but had to check airlines first, looked good then booked airline tickets accordingly before booking the cruise. Then went back to the orbits agent to book the cruise and she talked me into another cruise that she felt we would be better for us, forgetting abut the airline resevations, the new cruise was one day later, so it cost me another $1200. to fix all the tickets. We were stuck at the front of the ship, so it was always a long walk to do anything. We had to get up early and mark our sitting spots around the deck, or you were screwed, the pool was always crowded. The cruise director had to come out every day to scream over the loud speakers what stupid, loud game they were going to play, very annoying, The childrens program was very sub par, game room and babysitting area, no rock climbing or water slides or something physical for the kids to do. The Gym was always packed, I had to wait everytime I went to get a machine, the classes were all booked within the first day, so no yoga, no spinning, no, no, no.. And this was the cruise the agent recommended. The worst part was all the money gouging, if you wanted fresh squeezed OJ it was and up charge, same with a latte, the food in the "free" cafeteria was very marginal and the layout for this room was awful, you felt like you were in a crowded maze with everyone running every where. TOTALLY SUCKED. My wife and I went on the Norwegian Pearl and had a much better time and much better food.

This massive ship has something for everyone--movies, shows, lectures, contests, games (both physical and verbal), dancing, great glass-blowing demonstrations, music for every palate. It also has gorgeous staterooms, beautiful facilities everywhere, and a perfect staff--friendly, professional, and super-accommodating. The only down side was the food. The pastry chef was fantastic and I loved the Eggs Benedict every morning but all the savory dishes were bland with watered down sauces. The coffee was undrinkable; I had to have Diet Coke for breakfast just to get some caffiene! Still in general I had a great time!

Excellent specialty restaurants, Tuscany esp., Excellent service....Food was better than fair to good , but not excellent. Enjoyed dressing for Dinner. Pool rules not enforced....too many small children in adult areas. If you had told us about the large number of small children, we would have booked another cruise. Entertainment was great!!!!

This was our first cruise! We were celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary and had a blast! So glad we chose the Eclipse and can't wait to cruise again!

A truly great experience. The ship had everything you could want. The staff always attentive. Dining was a pleasure.

It was clean, huge, and staffed well. The ship met every expectation I had of what a modern cruise ship should be.

Dining room took excessively long to prepare meals and deliver to table. My six year old ordered a simple cheese pizza from the kids menu and it came out way over cooked and hardly had any cheese at all. The Oceanview Cafe was unprepared the night we ported at San Juan. There was only a few slices of pizza, a picked over salad bar and not much else except a mob of hungry angry passengers who returned from an evening in port. Took the staff over an hour and a half to bring the restaurant up to speed by getting additional help and finally at least getting some hot dogs and hamburgers going. The photo staff was great at taking pictures but awful when it came to filling orders. Long lines of frustrated people trying to pick up photos. Too few employees to help, incorrect orders, orders that weren't ready on time and overall just a poor representation. I waited in line an hour twice trying to get my photos and they still misspelled the family name I had PRINTED for them on the cards I ordered.

The Celebrity Eclipse is "easy on the eye". She is well designed.

At disembarkation, they called at least a dozen numbers at one time and jammed the hallways and stairs in two decks leading to the gangway to leave, many of the folks were stuck in the mire for 45 minutes. There is no way to blame this amatuer stunt on the customs folks. If we could have tracked down the captain and hung his lame butt from the yardarm, we would have done so. This was a perfect experience in just about every way except for the mediocre and simply fair service in select. But at the mess at the end, which we have not experienced on prior trips, I have to wonder if the company had been sold to a third world country over night.. Crummy way to treat folks and yes, I have photo!

This is the first time we sailed on the Celebrity and is fantastic!, we are going to schedule another cruise probably by November 2011. Thank you so much.

The ship is magnificient! Glassblowers and lawn for the cross Atlantic. There were only daily updates by the captain and cruise director at noon, so no interuptions. The agenda for the day was given and you had a choice as to be included or not included, so it was like we had the ship to ourselves for 13 days. The food is great the entertainment top notch and even though there were not many children on board, the staff went out of their way to make them welcome and entertained. They even had a wine cellar for wine tastings and intimate gatherings. The details down to the bathrooms were so well taken care of that for the first time we actually spent a great deal of time in the room watching the ocean as they were that comfortable. I am looking forward to the next generation complete with tree houses on deck.

Pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the stateroom and the size and comfort of the bed. We spent a lot of time there! The buffet dining area and the associated outdoor bar (Oceanview) are a good place to spend time using a computer, reading, or just looking out over the ocean. We ate frequently at the Moonlight Sonata dining room and were consistently impressed by the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. We didn't use the casino. We did see some movies onboard and used the library several times. The fitness area is well appointed and open long hours.

Being our first cruise with a (5yr old) child, I was concerned about kid friendliness (activities, babysitting type accommodations etc). However, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of events for us to do both as a family and alone, as adults. There is a drop off sitting service for kids of all ages which seemed fantastic (our son is very cautious so we didn't use it...but I wanted to!) Other things that impressed us were the cleanliness of the entire ship, the friendliness of staff and overall excellent customer service.

This was the best cruise we eve took. I wish I get on the same ship on a destination to Europe.

First class. Sparkling clean and beautiful.

Very classy mid size ship. Excellent food quality compared to other cruises we have been on (Royal & Princess). Also only line I know offering Alcohol Beverage package which is a great deal if you use it enough. The Singer/Impressionistr (Paul Tanner) was INCREDIBLE. Ports were geat too (different from the standard eastern carribean). We still like the larger Royal Ships (next up Oasis) but would do Celebrity again as well.
