Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Sonata Dining Room was the only disappointment. It was overcrowded. It felt more like a wedding banquet hall. Although the service was good the wait staff could not compensate for the crowded condidtions. Too many guests in too small a place. I would hightly recommend that the company consider three dining times. Perhaps 5:30 PM, 7:15 pm, and 8:15 PM? Remove some of the tables to allow for better spacing. Consider replacing the existing rectangular tables with round tables for a more intimate atmosphere. What a shame to have such exquisite food served in a inferior atmosphere. It could have been a ten!

The company should consider the addition of a miniature golf course on Deck 15 since it already has real grass growing up there.

Cabin / Stateroom

The only thing I missed was a readable alarm clock in my room.

Went to Mont St. Michel. Excellent tour.

Le Havre (Paris), France

Took the bus to Paris. The drive was just a bit too long for a day trip.

Pros: Excellent Staff attentive to every detail. Food was beautifully presented and it tasted great.

Cons: Sonata Dining Room
