The cruise was fantastic from beginning to end. The Eclipse was a great ship and the experience in Aqua Class was wonderful especially the Blu restaurant. Service all over the ship was superb. Loved all the ports.  We were lucky to have excellent weather for most of the cruise except the first few days on the North Sea and into Germany. After that, all blue skies and warm weather. This is unusual for the Baltic.

Good food, numerous bars are to be expected but, it is in ENTERTAINMENT that the Eclipse really soars. The main lavish productions are worthy of BROADWAY. The guest main show stars cover a wide path of comedy, song and magic. there are also midday stage productions on sea days. The Grand Foyer has numerous shows and often highlights the house singers and dancers. Sky lounge has great music and many theme parties with singers and dancers.

The staff throughout the ship was fabulous and most attentive to even the smallest detail. The Blu dining staff and our cabin staff were exceptional in all respects. The tours were well done with knowledgeable guides. The only tour that was lacking was Guernsey and that was because we got off the ship later than anticipated due to visibility issues which were beyond anyone's control and guide had another appointment of a personal nature and rushed through what she could but not really finishing tour.

Professional and responsive staff, excellent ship and food, substandard entertainment for senior guests, and lousy boarding procedures in Miami, .................................etc.

The bedroom was horrible. First the 'PULL OUT BED' was taking the pillows off the couch and LAYING them on the FLOOR. THIS IS A BED??? ARE YOU KIDFING ME!!! The other beds mattress were worn on an angleon both sides. After the first couple of nights sleeping on them I as unable to walk without severe back pain. The people who cleaned the room were not that good. We would leave to come back to unemptied trash baskets and no toilet paper. I have always traveled Celebrity to the position of Elite Member. I am now having second thoughts if I wasted my time. This cruise was the most uncomfortable cruise I have ever been on.I am very unsatisfied with the accommodations that were provided. Again PILLOWS ON THE FLOOR FOR A BED. OH MY GOD. BRING BACK FORMAL NIGHT. 

Eclipse not only goes where we want to go, when we want to go, but is in any case a great experience! It was disappointing to miss Bermuda for the second time, but we salute the Captain's professional decision to divert because of a storm.

We detected some efforts to cut back on expense, in spite of regular increases in fares, and felt that the abandonment of 'formal' nights was an unnecessary attempt at 'dumbing down'.

Overall, we were delighted as usual with the service, food and facilities and have booked the return voyage in October!

 I have to say that we were very pleased at our cabin and the cabin staff, they were great. The moonlight Sonatta restaurant looked great, we had table 247 for the first 2 nights. My wife and I were on our own, then they introduced 2 more couples to our table and I have to be honest this made our cruise because we could not have wished for a more pleasant pair of couples it was great. 

We would have rated the cruise 5* had it not been that the food was not always what we English call "top notch", also some of the seating was thread bare. Having  said that the table staff were great (Dion & Robert) could not do enough for you.

We were a bit sad that the Bermuda stop was cancelled, but of course realise that the captains priority is safety. I also wish that the alternative location had been Funchal instead of Le Havre but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

We are certainly going to book another cruise.

Overall we thought we were in heaven.  We were in Aquaclass and had a classic beverage perk among other things, which made our trip special.  We did not eat in Blu all the time.  We had Select Dining in the Main Dining Room, and most of the time we liked their menu better than Blu.  However, we did eat breakfast in Blu most of our trip.  ALL the staff on this ship is wonderful and spend most of their time pampering you.  We wanted for nothing.  We came over from 10 years on Carnival, and booked our second Celebrity Cruise after 3 days.  My best advice, make a reservation and come aboard.

Everything except main dining was very good.  Main dining menu is very boring, not much variation day to day.  Don't ask for anything not on the menu as your request will not be honored.  When we started with Celebrity about 8 - 10 years ago if you wanted something other than what was listed on the menu, the staff would do everything possible to provide.  Service once upon a time was Celebrity's core product but not so much anymore.  Service in specialty dining venues is excellent which is what main dining was at one time, however main dining is not up to what Celebrity should stand for.  

All other areas were very good with the room steward and assistant being outstanding.

Ports of call were good except Antigua and St Kitts.  There is very little to do or see at these two ports, stay on the ship.

Despite these few short comings we still like Celebrity, in fact we have two more cruises planned.

This cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse had to be one of our best.  We've been on 25 cruises with various lines but this cruise has made me a Celebrity customer for the foreseeable future.

The ship was spotless, the ports were exceptional, anytime dining allowed you to meet many more people than if we had selected the fixed early/late seating.  Anytime dining provides you with the flexibility to treat each day differently be on your timetable instead of that of the ship.

The meal choices each evening were expansive enough to make good choices and the Specialty restaurants were great especially the TUSCAN which was a beautiful restaurant and plenty of choices that we went back 3 times.  The entertainment was different and varied to satisfy all tastes.  Shows were great and all performers were entertaining. 

Celebrity also has a great Loyalty program - they truly make you feel that your loyalty is appreciated.  We already booked our next cruise. 

Our best vacation ever, and best cruise ever after many others on many other cruise lines.  

The shows were fabulous day and night, there were extra daytime shows on at sea days that were a great addition. There were even extra interactive nighttime shows after the main nighttime shows.

The ships band  Solitaire gave made the cruise really special. Their lead woman vocalist was amazing and projected enthusiasm into the audience no matter how many times a day and night she performed.  She made you want to dance and have a party.

The ships song and dance crew was wonderful on and off stage.  We especially enjoyed Amber's Broadway rendition of Popular on the big stage.  She showed of her talents as a singer, choreographer, acting and directing ability as a story teller. which later in the cruise won the dance contest

Specialty Dining not up to our standards. For the prices charged, the food was equal to the dining room, not special at all. All in all the ship was very nice. Our room steward was wonderful, polite and knew what we needed before we did. We had some issues with our room and he had the issues handled right away.

The customer service, of , and shore excursions was outstanding. Especially, Ms. Shari Bagby. Sorry if I spelt the name wrong...

All my concerns were addressed. The veranda room choice was excellent, as my husband had problem walking.

I was concerned about shore excursions offered by , because of meeting places etc. But they turned out to be better than offered by celebrity.

We sailed out of Miami on March 20th with 3 friends.  We really enjoyed this ship and the ports we visited.  We did an overnight in Barbados on Easter Sunday and nearly everything was closed.....that was a little disappointing, but understandable.  We enjoyed the glass show on multiple occasions.  The ship was very clean and in great shape.  We have sailed Celebrity many times and I only really have 1 complaint.......They continue to offer a free beverage package on many of there sailings (certain conditions apply) and it is really hard to get a drink up on the pool deck where we enjoy hanging out.  I just wish they had a few more servers on the pool deck especially on sea days.  I felt that the entertainment was some of the best we have had on any cruise.

We stayed in the Royal Suite 1116.  The suite was great, our butler William was the best we have ever had on a cruise. The suite was roomy with a living room, dining room (for 6) and bar.  We had the premium drink package which we found very handy as we never had to sign a receipt. The separate bedroom with a nice flat screen tv was excellent as was the huge bathroom with a great shower.  Internet service as not so good as sometimes it was working and sometimes not.  The balcony was nice with a table and two chairs plus a lounge sitee. We had them bring in a lounge chair from the pool side so we could both be out on the deck relaxing at the same time.  I think the jucuzzi tub on the balcony was wasted space and should be eliminated.  With the Royal Suite we could eat at any of the Specialty restaurants which we did enjoying the Tuscan the best.  The separate Laminae restaurant for some suite guest was exceptional.  Michaels Lounge for a breakfast latte or a drink before dinner was really nice. This was our first trip on Celebrity as we have cruised on Royal Caribbean , NCL and Carnival before but now we will be cruising on Celebrity from now on.

Our cruise was excellent with great ports that had perfect beaches and great shopping experiences.  The ship could have been better maintained and the beverage service was overwhelmed.  Our cabin stewards were the best and the dining room and specialty restaurant service was excellent.  The Celebrity excursions were average with the process being their usual unorganized chaos with long wait times.  The food was good, but not up to their usual high standards on this particular cruise.

We will sail again on Celebrity, but we hope that this experience was a one off.  Cruise One and Debbie and Bob Knox are the best and always find a way to make cruising easier and even more fun.

would not do this itinerary again tours offered were expensive and not interesting enough  If you didn't want a tour the alternatives for going anywhere were expensive.

There  agents  do  not  call  you  back in an appropriate time  I could have  saved a lot of money  on concierge  cabin  but no agent never called back in timeshame on you

I enjoyed nearly every moment of this cruise.  The ship was beautiful and the crew was so thoughtful and gifted.  We made friends at dinner from different parts of the world and our wait staff was remarkably talented and entertaining.  We took several excursions and enjoyed them all.  Any problems we had were soon put to rest by the staff - Nestor was delightful, told me Lola was the word for grandmother in his language.  Za Za from the Tuscan Grille treated us like his grandmother and served us like royalty.  Our room was always immaculate and ice was delivered to us as needed.  We attended all the shows in the theater and were delighted with them.  The food was very good in both the dining room and the buffet.  The hamburgers by the pool were really good and the French fries nearly as good as McDonalds.  The musicians and dancers were all excellent, as well.  I have to rest up (87 y/o) but may find another destination with Celebrity.

WE WANTED A CRUISE THAT INCLUDED TIME AT SEA.  THIS WAS PERFECT. 2 DAYS OUT AND 2 DAYS IN TO MIAMI.  THE SHIP IS WONDERFUL WITH ALL THE AMINITIES TO MAKE THE CRUISE ENJOYABLE.  THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY THROUGHTOUT THE SHIP.  CABIN MAN AND HELPER, SERVERS AT DINNER AND PEOPLE AROUND THE SHIP ALWAY HAD A GOOD THING TO SAY. ALL IN ALL BEST CRUISE EVER...
