Nine night cruise Venice to Barcelona. Adriatic and Mediterranean were smooth as glass. The weather was hot and mostly sunny. The itinerary sold us and this was our first time sailing Celebrity. I’d go Aqua Class again even though we barely set foot in the spa. Loved the solarium pool and hot tubs.

Blu was very good, both service and food. Enrikke the wine steward was phenomenal and the hostesses (maitre d’s) were welcoming and friendly.
Oceanview buffet was always overcrowded, and often hard to find seating at breakfast. We ranked the food selection and quality s step below RCCL’s Windjammer.

Connie is a little old and showing her age. They keep her clean though.

We didn’t like the very large overhang on the balcony. 9106 is lucky enough to have a smaller one than the neighboring cabins.
Our cabin steward was friendly and kept things very tidy. We had two issues with this cabin. First was the safe failed to open on our first port day, causing us to miss a couple of hours in Zadar. Our second problem was that on multiple occasions our toilet would not flush (twice overnight for 6 hours!) We are savvy enough to know not to flush anything other than marine TP.
Vintage wooden train tour offered through Celebrity. We were bused to the town and port of Sóller and rode the train back to outskirts of Palma. It was a fun and scenic trip.
My favorite city in Europe. We stayed two nights post cruise. We had visited before and toured most of the sights then, so we explored El Born and the beach and took in the Picasso museum.
We did a small private group tour that took us to the old town, the City of Arts and Sciences and finished with a tapas lunch in a penthouse overlooking Arts and Sciences area. OMG it was so good!!
Took the “Taormina on your own” excursion. Lots of walking (seemed uphill, both ways). Good shopping and cafes were plentiful. My Etna was in hiding today.
