Review summary

The cruise left us with mixed experiences. As we have a long cruising history, we can compare, and unfortunately this particular cruise was by far not one of the best we've taken. The ship is aesthetically nice and has a lot of potential, however, the crew looked like they haven't had proper training (a lot of them mentioned that they were new) and their sloppiness spoiled most of our experience. Entertainment and activities on the ship were lacking as well. Main shows were nicely choreographed and very well organized, we enjoyed them. Ports of call were outstanding and did not disappoint.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food is great, service needs to improve

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Limited activities, but I guess it's OK if your expectations are low

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Main shows are great, shows at redez-vous bar are great, disco OK. I have not seen a single show at the pool and could not make it to anything else. Nothing after midnight except disco. Everything is scheduled at the same limited time interval. Nothing else is available in-between.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Untrained personnel, made a lot of mistakes. Some of these mistakes spoiled our trip.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was fine, but cabin steward tried to get us out of cabin to clean the room, so that was not good. Also, TV reception disappeared very often, and choice of channels was poor.

Venice, Italy

Venice is wonderful, however we came around 4:30 PM and it was too late to explore the city. So, the experience was ruined somewhat.

That's too bad. All Celebrity ships are usually fantastic.
