Review summary

We sailed on the Century before it was refurbished, and loved it then; so this time it was even better. One thing we made a lot of use of was the gym. There are tv monitors on each treadmill and eliptical strider, so exercising is not boring. We also enjoyed the LCD flat screen tv in our room, which was plently spacious, even though we didn't have a suite with a butler this time. (Our mattress was super comfortable too) We also enjoyed the sushi bar for dinnner on several evenings, as well as the salad and sandwich bar for lunch on a few occasions.

Ports of call

Valencia, Spain

There are so many cathedrals here that one can see if they choose. They are all quite old and picturesque.
Don't Miss: The "Central Mercat" was truly amazing. This is where the "locals" go to shop.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

We will never forget our tour of Rome!!! Again, our tour guides were exceptional! The information we were given enhanced our appreciation of this old city so much! We definitely have to come back.
Don't Miss: You must have bruchette at a steet cafe.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

We enjoyed just walking on the streets and enjoying the artwork, even though many shops were closed. We had coffee at a corner cafe and found Mallorcan sandals to bring home.
Don't Miss: Mallorcan sandals.

Marseille (Provence), France

Just walking around the harbor and enjoying the fish and flower market was quite romantic for us.
Don't Miss: Walking to Notre Dame!

Cannes, France

We were simply fascinated with all the yachts we saw "parked" here, as well as the street market.
Don't Miss: The museum.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

We took of Florence and Pisa at this port. Outstanding! Our tour guide was so informative, giving us details we never knew before.
Don't Miss: The leaning tower of Pisa or seeing the street venders on the bridge in Florence, as well as the statue of David.

Ibiza, Balearic Islands

We loved the beautiful scenery here that we found as we climbed to the highest point of the city.
Don't Miss: Walking to the fort that gives you the most beautiful views overlooking the city and the harbor.
