Review summary

After three hectic weeks touring in Europe, this was a relaxing way to extend our vacation and get home without the long flight.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Asked to register for a boarding time, but lines were long. Looked like most passengers arrived at same time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The staff on this ship is enthusiastic, service-focused, and do a great job. The food in the main dining rooms was always fresh tasting, cooked to order, and artfully presented.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very talented performers. Lecture series, magician and comedian were all entertaining. The programs presented by Captain Leo and Cruise Director Alessandro were the highlights . Informative and hilarious!for us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Celebrity’s superpower is the quality of the ship’s staff. We did not interact with any staff, from Captain Leo to Krishna our room steward, who were not totally committed to our safety, comfort, and satisfaction with all aspects of our crushing experience.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was the largest ship we have ever sailed aboard, with over 3000 passengers. However, it never seemed crowded. The ship is nicely designed with spaces for all types of activities. Clean, clear, and interestingly decorated without the over-the-top glitzy “Vegas” look on too many ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We upgraded to a consigned cabin , 11149, and it was spacious and comfortable. It was made even more enjoyable by the efficient and responsive care provided by our cabin steward, Krishna. He was excellent!

Ship tip

If you want access to space in the indoor pool space, go early. The top deck garde was a quiet hideaway.
