First half definitely not up to Celebrity standards. Excuse given was it was a new ship and very full. This ship has been sailing since April, this was October, surely enough time to get organized and train the staff.

First six days were filled with service issues. Food was just O.K., not what we expected from Celebrity based on our previous cruises.

Service started off very disorganized, slow and chaotic. Room was still dirty upon arrival. Later room was left open for more than an hour by the room steward. Dining room service improved about halfway through the cruise.

If you hit rough seas expect noise throughout the night from the veranda windows.
Area outside the terminal is old and poorly maintained. Availability of taxis and shuttle buses was dismal. Very crowded and disorganized with poor signage for those looking to get to the airport.
Disorganized way behind the scheduled time for each group. Transportation to the airport a nightmare. Two hours in the pouring rain as Celebrity could not or would not provide sufficient buses even when requested prior to the cut-off time. Crowded conditions on the ship and outside the terminal. Believe this is where I caught Covid.
