You can eat free at the resturants that you normally have to pay for on seadays. My husband and I enjoyed the Mongolian Wok for free. Also, instead of spending lots of money per person for excursions bought onboard, we were able to find the same ones, sometimes better for less, once we got off the boat. Finally, if you only want to go to the beac and not do a tour, your best bet is to take a cab directly there rather than taking one of the busses. The busses charge per person but the taxi cabs charge you just to travel to the location which is way cheaper.

Just remember if you want a moment alone go to a part of the ship that the cruise director isn’t in.

Nice room size for families if you use the suite. Family lounge was nice also.

There is a small buffet on deck 5 for breakfast most days.

It’s hard not to compare with other ships but Vista is a great representation of Carnival. The staff throughout the ship were polite and helpful. The people in EFFY and watch area are outstanding

The elevators on the Carnival Vista are very small compared to other ships with Carnival and other cruise lines.

Get to the activities early. The ship is very large and tons of people. Long lines for activities. Dive in movies get your chairs early!

Staying on delck 10 was nice since could get to pool, buffet, movies quickly rather than waiting on elevators with lots if people!
