We would go on the Vista again. The casino was also alot of fun:cruisers actually won on slot machines.
The $5,000 Cover all Bingo game on last day was disappointing: No One hit when the 49th number was called.
They did give a $700.00 prize to the person that hit the coverall bingo : I think it was about number 53.
First cruise I have been on that the cover all was not given away: $ 40.00 is pretty expensive to play for a chance to win it and it not be WON! I doubt I would play Bingo again.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We were surprised how fast the process went: They were very organized and ready for cruisers. We did arrive in our slotted window time. On board by 11:30 am.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Specialty restaurants were great: We ate at the steakhouse & JJ Asian: Would eat at both again.
I personally was not crazy about the buffets: Eggs Benedict for breakfast just doesn't sit well being served cold: The 24 hour pizza spot is great: you do have to wait at times as the lines get long. Guy's Bugers are fabulous: we ate there several times: Also enjoyed the mexican food by the pool deck: but they should offer chips & salsa.
We only ate main dining once in the evening: it was very good. Breakfast: takes a little long and they set us by screaming kids so we did not enjoy . My suggestion would be; use a side for families with small children and use an area just for adults!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The sky ride is fun: we did wait over an hour to ride: our granddaughters who are 13 and 15 loved the arcade;
Pools were very busy: but was always able to locate a lounge chair.
We thought they would use the water slides but they did not, due to long lines.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The stage shows are fabulous: we really enjoyed the entertainment and musicians through out the ship,
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward CECEP was GREAT!! Our bartenders : Red Frog Rum Bar & Pool Bar Aft were FABULOUS! Remembered what we ordered. We did tip them additional $:
The one night we ate in the main dining: all staff were also very good.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Layout and design is great: of course it does get hectic after excursions return to ship on port days: waiting for elevators can be disheartening: but we just used the stairs a lot: which was great exercise.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Room very clean. CECEP our steward was fabulous. Keeping up with 2 teen age granddaughters use of shower towels etc! Not alot of storage space but we made it work!
Doesn't seem like any money is going back in to Jamaica. We were bombarded as soon as you walk out from the ship. Everyone: wanting to braid your hair, take you on an excursion: etc...I would say this was our least favorite port out of our 3.
Was surprised how well the Tenders did. We did not have to wait long going into port or waiting to return.
The stingray city is very crowded but it is something we wanted our granddaughters to experience. We did purchase the digital pictures .
I've never been at a cover all bingo on a cruise and seen it won in the first 49 numbers. I play every cruise so to me that's normal and the cost on par with all the other lines I've been on.
