The Serenity Dock for adults is awesome. The drink page (Cheers package) is definitely the way to go.

I would book a room on the LIDO floor (9th) it is where most of the food is served from .

Be prepared for a rough bunch of guests on this cruise. Don't expect gourmet food and top notch entertainment. This cruise will ruin a first time cruiser's desire to every sail again!!

We chose anytime dining and always went early. We never had to wait in line. We also got up early to eat breakfast on the port days so we could be one of the first to get off. Don't stress about the crowds around the pool because there is nothing you can do to change that. Find something else to do. We saved our swimming on the days we got off the ship.

If you do not want to spend a lot of extra cash, be prepared with a limit on what you want to spend and just say no! Take a look beforehand at the activities and decide which ones you want to spend money on and forego the rest. Also be prepared if you are planning on swimming - either get there early and stake out your spot or you may want to choose a different cruise. There is a Dr. Seuss breakfast - $5.00 per person - even at 16, my daughter loved it.

Acclimate yourself to the ship the first day. Roam around and take note of how to access dining rooms and entertainment from the location of your room. Really saves time and makes the trip more enjoyable. Not getting lost is wonderful!! First time cruiser and we did great.

Have plenty of sunscreen, some good walking shoes, take some swim shoes as well they keep the deck dry but their are wet spots. And pace yourself it is so much to do on there you might not want to get off. But for the most part remember your on vacation have fun no time for fussing or fighting let the kids let loose and you and mommy do the same.

Be prepared drink package does not start until the next day. I think it should start the first day to get your money's worth especially if you do an excursion both days and you don't really use your package. Other than that no other tips worth noting..
