Review summary

The wife and I have cruised a lot, but this time we took our 5 year old granddaughter, and this trip was all about her. Any time she is asked "what was your favorite part?", she answers, "EVERYTHING".

She just LOVED Camp Ocean. The counselors were fabulous and we could barely drag her out.

Great, as all my Carnival experiences have been

Ship Quality

The Valor was built in 2004, and it shows the wear. I am not a fan of the décor.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very nice accommodations. Kind of small for 3, but we really only slept there. Sunrise and sunset are best viewed from a balcony!

Ship tip

MUCH better than expected. STIFF drinks. Lots of fun for the kids. Food was good. Guide was great. Exceeded our expectations

Disembarkation

Customs & Border Protection was very understaffed, making for a slow exit. TABC was a piece of cake!
