After years of envying others, I finally took the plunge into cruising. At first I didn't know what to expect but I didn't mine because it was my birthday. After boarding, we went straight to the lido deck for lunch. I was amazed by the amount of food available. I tour the ship and began to excited after seeing all the entertainment and fun that is there waiting for me. For my first cruise, Carnival Valor were a good choice.

Our first cruise was amazing!!! We have already booked another one for next summer. The ability to book one thing and enjoy an all inclusive deal is beyond awesome to me. Food was great as well as the entertainment and staff. Ship was SPOTLESS along with full of fun activities. Highly recommend going for anyone. V

We've gotten to the point where we only cruise in a balcony. We enjoy being able to go out and soak up the sun by ourselves. None of the hassles of going on deck near the pools. Yes, we enjoy going to ports we've been to before, always something new to do. Yet, we love finding new ports of call to visit. We're addicted to cruising, whether it's just the two of us, another couple or a group of family and friends. This time it was with a couple than have been friends for a long time.

It was great, food was great, entertainment was great The Whole atmosphere was great, loved tying out a different ship and the cruise director Kevin was hilarious. All the staff was friendly and helpful. One fun ship crew member Carlos was hilarious also. He did a great job hosting the trivia/games in the lobby every day. The shows were great. Danu our waiter in the main dining room was wonderful too. Our room steward Supraman was also wonderful. Weather was great too.

We had a wonderful time!!! I can't wait to go again!!

This was a last minute Get away for me. Didnt really get to enjoy much due to being in an accident 4 days before the cruise. But i did enjoy what little bit of exploring of the ship i got to do. The ship was very clean and i loved the theme of out and the decorations!!!

My favorite part was seeing the Mayan Ruins in Chichen Itza. Our ocean view room was very spacious. Drinks at the Casino are not free. My favorite food on the ship was the Ruben Sandwich from the deli. They can also be ordered 24 hours from free room service. 

1st cruise and loved it... Cozumel was beautiful and we want to return some day for a longer stay. The cenote in Yucatan was a once in a lifetime experience I feel... carnival Valor and staff were awesome and made my experience just even more perfect.

Had a great time! Cruising is definitely my happy place!

My husband loved it. I was okay until we hit some rough seas but we have scheduled again for Jan 2021. The same port, the same ship, and almost the same exact room.

Absolutely had a blast...this was my 2nd cruise and definitely not my last! The places we visited were beautiful...there were vendors but none of them were pushy...some of them were kinda funny and pleasant to talk with. My friend did get stunk by something, jellyfish, stingray or something, but the staff knew how to handle it and she was/is ok. Will return!

Tried to make the best of the cruise, there were a lot of disappointments. A LOT!

By far a wonderful experience. If you can try the Chefs Table it is well worth the experience!

Yjos was our third Carnival Cruise.  frankly, one ship is just the same as the next.  Basically it has already become no greater an experience than riding a city bus.  Same old thing...  We enjoyed our destinations very much and the excursions were loads of fun, but the time spent on board the ship were so-so, at best.  Carnival food (buffets) is clearly sub par, with every attenpt to make things look wonderful, but the quality is clearly lacking.  They call it cheesecake, I call it cake that has a cheese like flavor.  It is CLEARLY not even remotely real cheesecake, EVEN IN THE DINING ROOMS.  We went to the dining room for brunch one morning and my English muffin was brought to the table a full ten minutes before my breakfast, so it was cold as a corpse by the time my eggs arrived. The eggs were cooked through, although I asked for over easy.  We were VERY disappointed with the dinners as well.  We have been relatively happy with the evening meals on previous cruises with Carnival, but even some of the regular fall back items were poorly prepared. Honestly, the service at dinner was not entirely star studded either.   Movies on the deck were a nightmare!  Loud mouths who had no respect for the fact that the deck was loaded with people trying to watch a film would sit in the areas immediately adjacent to the screen and blab at full volume. No one from the ship staff thought it needful to address this issue, so watching the movie became a waste of time and effort.  YOU COULDN'T HEAR IT ANYWAY for all loud and obnoxious blabber mouths!  Carnival is interested in selling booze, so drunks abound, and I personally have no interest in dealing with obnoxious drunks, but plan on having to do so at least once or twice a day.  We loved our open seating dinner companions and made lasting friendships which we plan to continue, even on land,   Honestly, as far as cruising is concerned, Carnival is a ship that gets you where you are going.  Other cruise lines make the trip as enjoyable as the destinations.  Not Carnival.

This was my first cruise experience and I absolutely loved it. I felt like I had to get back to work to relax from all the activity. Lol. I would definitely recommend a cruise to someone looking for a way to vacation that is suited for the entire family.

The decor of a ship does not ruin a good time. No matter how bad is was.....

Be sure the stop by the Seafood Corner for some fresh seafood. It does cost extra but so worth it. The food at Scarlett's Steakhouse was off the chain as always but the service was bad. So bad that I did lodge a complaint. I don't care how busy they have been we have never been forgotten. 

The Valor had the standard ship layout but history theme was so all over the place. Hurt my feelings that most folks didn't even know who Josephine Baker was so they just made fun and insulted the motif. The history faces staring down at you was a little scary as well.

My first cruise and it was an awesome experience. Staff was great and food was delicious. Definitely not my last cruise. I also enjoyed the ports of call.

For our first cruise experience, this was the best vacation we could ask for. We enjoyed everything the ship had to offer. There is something for everyone. Carnival really goes out of there way to make this a great experience. If anyone doesn’t enjoy it, it’s becsuse you chose not to.

I will definitely be cruising again with Carnival. I did not have one bad experience on this ship! The staff was courteous, the ship was clean, and there were so many activities to choose from!

This was one of my top three cruises. I loved the ports, food, entertainment and the people we met.
