1st cruise and loved it... Cozumel was beautiful and we want to return some day for a longer stay. The cenote in Yucatan was a once in a lifetime experience I feel... carnival Valor and staff were awesome and made my experience just even more perfect.

We spent most of our time on deck 5 near casino. That Shotgun Club Bar was awesome due to the best bartenders (my opinion) plus they had my pomegranate margarita and other decks did not. Deck 9 had food (buffet) and the outside pool plus iguana bar... we attended comedy show, bingo, magic show and some other small entertainment shows. All events were great.

Our house keeper was awesome , he knew us by our first names and always had our room in clean condition regardless of the time we exited the room... all staff on ship were so friendly

Ship tip
Really take less clothes as needed. Reuse the same bottoms as needed take more tops and make sure you bring all favorite hygiene cause the ship store doesn’t carry all brands and prices are high
