Review summary
We've done several Carnival Cruises. The ship was nice/par. We liked the stops at Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk because the beaches were right where you get off the ship/tender. No need for a taxi and everyone could go back to the ship if they had enough of the beach or sun. As I noted above, I wish they had a water park/slides like the Splendor ship for the younger swimmers.Ship experiences

Pros: The beach at Half Moon Cay was the best - softest sand! My daughter got it right as she described it as 'pancake batter' in the water on your feet! My 6 year old loved the pool slide!
Cons: The Valor didn't have a good pool for my 6 year old. Baby pool 1 ft deep or regular pools 4' 6" too deep for a young swimmer.
Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!
