Even having FTTF, getting to the port when the parking lot opened at 10 am was too early. We waited 45 minutes, until 11 am before the busses were loaded to head to the ship.

Pack light no more than 1 suitcase of clothes. That should include one bathing suit at least and no more than 2 dress up outfits and no more than 4 outfits for the whole 8 days. Take advantage of the laundry on the ship.

You have to pay attention to where you are on the ship when trying to get around as all floors do not go the length of the ship.

Do some research, be patient, treat the staff with respect and enjoy. Your on vacation and you can't let the small things get to you. The bahamas got torn up, we just had to skip a port but we were still on a cruise enjoying ourselves.

Really read reviews. Not just the 5s. Really did into the reviews and find common issues/complaints. It was a decent time with our group- we made the best of it- but we all had similar concerns.

Make sure your credit card has lots of room on it. Drinks are expensive. The casino sucks your money as does activities such as bingo

When you get to the elevators, there is a ship telling you where you are and labelled with the areas on the boat. Use it every time!

We love the sunshine! She is different than other Carnival vessels in style but more ships are starting to have the same layout! Love the Ocean Plaza and Red Frog!
