Review summary

There were 14 of us travelling together and a GREAT time was had by all, except the horror in St. Maarten. Scary lesson learned!!!! Never book excursions from the pushy people on the side of the street. All in All, Great Memories. One of our favorites....Thank You Carnival for your Military Appreciation! First Class All the Way!!

Daughter TRAUMATIZED!! She and my son rented ATV's from a man on street. She damaged mirror and they DEMANDED $500 cash before they would release her. She was physically assaulted by a woman and we had LESS than 20 minutes before the ship left port to try to get this taken care of. ALWAYS BOOK EXCURSIONS THROUGH YOUR CRUISE LINE!! EXTORTIONISTS!! I'm sure they all stood around laughing and feeling proud of themselves for the $ they made!! WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PORT AGAIN!!!

We do not do ship excursions but do always research who we will use prior to going, we like to read lots of reviews before we choose. Sorry you had a bad experience as we have always had enjoyable time at this port and look forward to visiting again in January.
