Review summary

Thanks to Dorian, we couldn't port and ended up with a 4-day cruise to nowhere. And it was awesome. I was solo so I had a relaxing time on Serenity, listening to music, going to comedy and production shows and chatting it up with my fellow cruisers. Even found my birthday twin! And the 50% refund and 50% future cruise credit put the cherry on top!

Embarkation

I had FTTF and embarkation was smooth. More steps than Florida ports but it's a smaller port and hella organized.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I'm gluten intolerant and Carnival is always great with my meals. Great flavor and variety and I've never gotten sick.

Onboard Activities

I chilled on Serenity. Love that space!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I mostly relaxed but did the shows and comedy. Shows were AWESOME! Great singers and production.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My room steward Jay was awesome. Service twice a day and got the couple of items I requested. Loved chatting with him when I saw him!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I'm comfortable with most ship layouts now. Sunshine was mostly clean. Sometimes clean spots on Lido were hard to find during peak hours but with a little patience, they were quickly cleared.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Service was awesome! Loved the 6J oceanview on Lido. Very quiet and best view ever.

Ship tip

Enjoy. Visit the specialty restaurants. Food is suberb.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Smoothest disembarkation ever because we never stopped at a port. Very orderly and a brisk walk through the customs area.
