Download the Carvial Hub App. That was so helpful to let me know what was happening next and when. It also had maps of the ship even though you could ask any of the crew and they would help you find what you needed.

Don't accept a room at the back of the ship! Too noisy and you won't be able to sleep.

Grand Turk, needs to do something about the locals who try to sell you beach chairs, that was a very annoying experience.

The Internet package on this ship was a joke. The price was good, but the service was not. We paid for the premium package and it was spotty at best and incredibly slow when it worked. If that was the premium package, the standard package must be AOL dial-up or something. I am not sure how it could be any slower (except for not working and there were plenty of times I was connected but it was not working).

Definitely enjoy the shows and/or entertainment with Emma the Cruise director. Her personality really shines once you get to meet her in person rather than over the intercom. She's a lot of fun and has so much energy and character. Her sweet and bubbly personality really made our trip a lot of fun. You definitely can't help feeling like you are in good hands once you are part of the Sunshine Family.

If all you want to do is Triva or sleep, this is the ship for you. If you have any other plans book a different ship. It was a bad experience overall and I love Carnival. I am definitely a vacation is what you make it kind of person but there is only so much you can do. They changed the Iteniary with no real reason and all they offered was $14 credit. To much was not working or closed way to much and too early. A wasted vacation. If this had been my first experience, it would be my last 😥

Get to JiJi’s for omelettes or Mongolian stir-fry early! I had breakfast by 8am every morning & lunch by noon to avoid the crowds. It’s worth it though- the food is so much better than the buffet!
