I truly enjoyed this cruise. The Sunshine isn't one of the new bigger ships so it has less specialty restaurants if that's what you're into. The shows weren't broadway shows but very entertaining. Cruise director, Emma, was awesome. She had me dancing in the isles. Ports weren't the greatest but beaches were some of the best you'll ever see and swimming with dolphins is something I'll never forget. I even had my first pedi in the spa, it felt great and will probably be a must on future cruises. I guess cruising is what you make of it and this was definitely a fun experience.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
For the amount of people it went pretty quick. I was 12 noon embarkation but noticed lines growing behind me.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food was great!! Main dining room, Steakhouse, Cosina del Capitan didn't disappoint. Lido was a good option when we didn't want to dress up.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment
5 out of 5
DJ's were awesome, always kept crowds going. Stage shows weren't the best I've seen on a cruise but I did enjoy them, maybe because I'm a sucker for oldies music.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All staff was pleasant and more than willing to help.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Other than having to go thru casino and breath cigarette smoke I feel layout was OK. And there are ways to avoid the smoking once you get accustomed to the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Room was comfortable, cleaned twice a day. Bathroom was funny, nice and big shower which I loved, counter had enough room, but toilet was situated where when I sat my feet were in the shower, and I'm only 5'4.
Ship tip
Get there early for embarkation, before lines get really long. And I did anytime dining without any rushing or waiting
Beautiful beach but I didn't appreciate being asked for money to sit in a chair in one of the first 3 rows when there were signs saying "Free Chairs and Umbrellas " everywhere. So I sat in one of Carnival's free clamshells and had a wonderful day.
