Review summary

The whole cruise and boat needs improvement, the Boat was much too small for the amount of people on it!! The staff could benefit from diversity training. There need to be more security to curtail the wayward teenagers that ran in packs and took over the Lido deck every night. Too many bad experiences on one cruise!!

The Steward was fantastic, courteous, efficient and friendly. The cabin was much too small!!

Ship tip

Stay far away from Carnival Sunshine, the staff was unfriendly and know nothing about diversity!! Too many unpleasant experiences, will not cruise with Carnival again!! Between the food fights and the teenagers taking over the ship at 10pm and on felt unsafe!! Where was the security??

Sunshine in my option was Awesome! At the time, I only had the Fantasy to compare it to. Much more food options and other things. I'll be going in November on the Ecstasy, and I'm sure it's the Fantasy class, but who cares. I'm just grateful I'm getting to go! 😄

We went on the sunshine 2yrs ago and loved it. It's a newer ship no up grades are needed at this time. Sorry you didn't have a good Cruise try again!!!

We went this summer and had a relaxing time....i believe you are responsible to yourself to have a good time..if you couldn't find enjoyment on the Sunshine...cruising may need to be taken off your to do list...

We were on the sunshine in sept on the New England cruise and loved it. I will say though after spending a week on the ship it could be very crowded in the summer with a lot of kids in board. We were told there were only 61 people under the age of 21 on our cruise. The median age on this cruise was probably 65. Ship never felt crowded to us except in the casino at night.
