I have sailed on the larger ships i.e. Breeze and Vista, etc. The Splendor is smaller but offered the same amazing cruise, with shorter buffet lines, short wait lines for elevator, etc.

That you can do as much...or as little as you want on the ship. Lots of choices including just laying out in the sun (if you have it)

the mongolian restaurant often is 30 minutes waiting and close at 2:30 pm and buffet around at 2:45 so if you stuck in th line you ll get only the mongolian noodles best thing if you are 2 or more one in the line the others in other buffet before closing - spend 35 dollars for steak house it worth it , great dinner and service

Skip the Lido Buffet and check out the good BBQ on Deck 10, above the Aft Buffet. Also the breakfasts in the Black Pearl are far superior to the buffet and no lines.

The one tip I will give is bring an extension outlet because there is only one outlet in your cabin so you can charge multiple devices.

Enjoy yourself! Plan for a lot of walkIng. Ask for a fan for your room. Definitely utilize laundry services and room service.
