As an avid cruiser, II would rate this cruise in the bottom 5 of about 25 cruises.The food was terrible, the Chateaubriand like shoe leather, the entertainment average, and the constant barage of buy this, buy that disgraceful

The Carnival Splendor was well run ship and her crew was excellent.

Our vacation it was great and we loved everything detail, every moment.

We had a great time with one exception. We did the whitening and it was terrible. They advertise that it is PAIN free. My wife and I are avid brusher/flossers and we both had a horrible experience with this process. The procedure burned our gums during the process, caused them to bleed on touch, and made eating/drinking a bad experience. The spa's suggestion was to not brush and put LIP balm on our gums. We asked for our money back and they refused... We will most likely look at other options when cruising in the future due to this.

I like this ship. My 7 nights on the ship make my vacation easy and enjoyable. I would like to come back every year.

Splendor is a very nice ship. It is equipped with all the basic and luxuries services that really facilitates nice vacation experience. Food, entertaiment, facilities, rooms, activities are super. We have very good time up there.

We recently sailed on the Carnival Splendor with a full house. The sailing was phenomenal, we enjoyed all the adventures and would recommend the adventure for all,especially families. We participated in the "FUN TOUR" of the boat on the last sailing day of the cruise. This was the greatest adventure of all time. My entire family went on the tour and it was absolutely wonderful to see all the working of the boat and staff after having been sailing with them for six days. We were able to see things, that passengers normally are not privy too--and this was absolutely amazing. We had pictures taken by the ships bell, and with the captain on the bridge, and were also given some amazing treats. A sculptured swan, some chocolate covered strawberries and deserts sent to our stateroom, and a backpack bag of goodies with a hat. I cannot describe this experience in words alone since it was a nice finallee to a wonderful week of cruising.

Carnival Cruise Splendor Ship 7 day cruise to Puerto Vallarta, Matzalan, and Cabo San Lucus was a fun ship for our family to have our summer vacation. Mom, Dad, 18 yo, 14 yo, 10 yo. Some complaints you should know. They automatically charge you tips for the service and this has made staff less service orientated. They are not working for their tips anymore, they know they are getting it anyway. I encountered rude cocktail servers, rude table waiters, rude office staff. There was a time when people excelled at service to get better tips....too bad that concept is gone. You can tip accordingly, but you need to go to customer service to have them take off the tip charge. We loved our Steward Joseph on the 7th floor!!!!! We loved the magician Ram and the shows! Great dancers and singers! Also watch out for the teenager club. They really don't care about what your teenager does, comes and goes. I saw an older boy about 20 bring a cocktail to the outside of the teenager club O2 and give a this young girl about 17 this drink which she pounded down and then went back in. We loved the cruise but will go on Princess or Royal Carribean next time.

This was a miserable family vacation, our 5 year old son picked up stomach virus and spent most of the time quarantined in the cabin. Carnival offers free movies and water to compensate. Keep in mind they had one children movie on pay per view. The pools our overcrowded and seem filthy, the place is a floating petri dish with drunks. Great medical staff and room stewards and got a great deal on a TAG watch. Would not accept a free cruise from these people, definetly the low end of cruising.

Great atmosphere and great way to spend family vacation, great customer service the staff was always friendly.

Just got back from a cruise aboard the Carnival Splendor. Had a great time and would recommend it highly to others. Except for the weather, everything was great. Transportation from airport to ship, and vice versa took less than a hour each way and went smoothly. Embarkation took a little longer than I was used to, but I managed to get aboard ship. After I got on board, it was seven days of fun, food, and relaxation. At the ports of call, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan started out raining and overcast, but warmed up later in the day. I really enjoyed Cabo San Lucas because of the nice weather and lots to do. Unfortunately, I didn't spend a lot of time there. Overall, not only the food and atmosphere was great, but the service was great as well. I would recommend this cruise highly.

A very pink ship. Not the quality of people or service of another line like Celebrity. Food is low average; decor is garish. The only think that was good was the cabin (6450) which was a decent size, large closet space, and large balcony (worth the upgrade and selection)

The ship was beautiful. It was always very clean. The staff was very friendly also.

The cruise was absolutley amazing! There was something for everyone whether you were young or old, wanted to keep to yourself or enjoy a party! There were shows, games, comedy, music & dancing. The choices of food and dining were so vast, everything was covered. Families traveling with kids had the option to do activites together has families or enroll them in the kids camps. The spa and spa services were top of the line and one of my most favorite parts while on board. The staff were amazing and provided some of the best customer service I have ever seen.

This is our first family cruise- 5 members so we did not know what to expect. But it was good+. The professionalism of the staff was great. The quality of the rooms were wonderful. The Black Pearl Restaurant had "so-so" menu choices and quality- the exception was the menu on formal nights. The dancing and music lounges were fine and enjoyable. The major drawback so that the World Cup Games during the Group Play phase were not shown. This was our most major dissappointment with the cruise. Best Regards. George

SPA EXPERIENCE

The ship and the room were nice. The pool was often too crowded. Although the food was plentiful, I was surprised at the lack of variety and the quality. I thought the deserts were just average and some of the food just did not seem as good as I thought it would be.

This is our 2nd time on Carnival and it keeps getting better and better! This ship was great and crew was constantly keeping it picked up and clean. Staff was excellent from the Captain all the way to the room steward. Dining staff the best EVER! Entertainment every night at dinner was fantastic!

The ship was great. Very clean and excellent service. loved hanging out by the pool in the adult section.
