Variety of activities,  menus include healthy choices, vegetables, simple fares and elaborate cuisines. Staff members are great; helpful and attentive to passengers' needs and always display pleasant and friendly manners. 

The cruise itself was nice. My issue was that this cruise was for my anniversary and my wife's birthday. I went to guest services on the day before my wife's birthday and was informed that i could order a cake the next day at 5:30. On the day of her birthday after returning to the ship, I was told I couldn't order a cake for that day. So I was extremely disappointed that I couldn't have a cake for her on her birthday. I also traveled with 10 other people. I've never seen so many mistakes with charges to accounts that had to be fixed. This cruise experience was the worst and I think I'm going back to Royal Caribbean on my next trip.

   Meeting people, both guests and staff, from all over the world was a highlight for me.      The friendly engaging staff made the ship experience really nice.    Our dinner team for table 714 at the early dinner seating for the Gold Pearl was fantastic.   Our room steward was really sweet and hard working.    Always greeted us with a big smile.

      I was especially impressed by a staff member I met named Jeshan.    She was a cleaning steward for the lounge on Level 3.     I must say this lady's talents and abilities are being wasted cleaning floors!    She was so engaging, articulate, and polite.   She should be in a capacity serving your guests in a more direct way.

Best was probably the entertainment. The big shows were excellent. Never seen so many great singers in one group of performers. The deck parties with MarQ were great fun. Travis was a very good musician and knew a lot of songs. Food was really excellent. Kudos to the captain and crew for dealing with the medical emergency the first day at sea without having to alter the itinerary. Maybe someday the casinos will be totally non-smoking.

Favorite part was the entertainment, cruise director and fine dining. Outstanding talent and shows!!

The weather was perfect and loved the ports. More time at St Thomas needed. 

Loved the smoked salmon at the grill and the burrito station. 

Tables need to be cleared faster on the lido deck. 

The embarkation staff could be more friendly. However I did appreciate the check in at the Miami airport. 

My favorite part of the cruise was the honoring of Veterans. The food was great especially the BBQ.

I can't remember the one Supervisor's name that would be considered the Hotel Supervisor in a hotel but he was great. I became sick on Friday and he followed up with me the next day to ensure that I was ok.

Everything was excellent, from our cabin steward Constantin to the entertainment 

The Chef Table is a must... being pampered and exposed to delicious "haute cuisine" for 3 hours was simply magnificent.. from the champagne and the apitizers to the multi-course meal with wine of my liking.. it was well worth the $86.90 ( $75 + tips pp) charged.

Can't wait to go on another ship.

No complaints. It was wonderful. I am actually planni,g a Disney cruise with my children and grandchildren for spring 2018. The staff were all fabulous. The food was apmensis. The comedian was hysterical. It's was just great. Make sure you take a few days off after, it is exhausting having that much fun.

My trip with you guys was tremendously awful, I got really sick with the first food I ate at the food, I spent all the days of my cruise really sick, so at the end had to spent more than a hundred dollars on the medical bill. I think that there are not enough cleaning policies at the ship, the buffet smells. There is only one tbing to save from the experience, the cruise crew was always friendly and nice.ñ ĺ

Overall this was a very fun cruise.  The drink package is an excellent choice, the shows were fun, the cruise director was very enthusiastic, there could have been more for the 20-30 age group.  The pools were very nice, but small and would get crowded quickly, deck space was limited with chairs, but you could always find somewhere to sit.  Food was very good and readily available.  No soda available in the breakfast/lunch buffet.  Excursions were easy to get to they accommodate you very well to get to and from your excursions and even did an excellent job handling a situation before the cruise began.  Overall a very fun cruise and great time!

My wife and I were on the new year's cruise for 2015-2016 and the Splendor was absolutely outstanding.  Such was so, that we immediately booked for the 2016-2017 new year's cruise we just came back from.

Well... Sorry Carnival, something happened to the Splendor in that one year time frame.  I understand that the crews rotate, but the customer service with this crew was at best mediocre... not bad, but not excellent like last year.  The folks at the front desk level 3 were dry, not nice, and seemed to either not like their job, or felt they were above giving great customer service.  The buffet was mediocre.  We were seated next to the kitchen twice in the Black Pearl level 3 restaurant twice until we had to complain.  The waitresses do not have a clue about the timing of the meals, bringing coffee before desert and while finishing our wine. The food was cold, with the explanation from the head waiter that those slower moving items are served up in the kitchen and left there until someone take them to a table, getting cold.

Once I got back, I had to fight with Carnival, through , to cancel next year's Splendor cruise over to the new Carnival Vista, and got penalized $100. Carnival... wake up! The new player in Miami, MSC Cruises is going to eat your lunch if you keep this up.

The staff on the Splendor were amazing - enjoyed the ports (Grand Turk, La Romana, Aruba & Curacao).  I wish we stayed in the ports a little later so that I could have enjoyed more sightseeing.  Also as much as I enjoyed my cruise I must admit the pink decor on the Splendor is a bit dated - some renovations may be in order - it screams 1980.  Met an amazing couple who we had dinner with every night. I must say best vacation ever - special shout out to my room stewards Chai & Joel and dining room waiter Nyoman!

Initially I thought carnival is cheap so didn't expect much. It turned out that this one has the best food we ever tried on three different cruise lines. Casual or formal dining every night. The dining ball was always full.  Free champion on embarkation. Lobster tail on the final night and a variety of seafood choices every night. Their 24 hour pizza was super thin and crispy. Love it. All the crew members were super warm and helpful. The carnival camp had lots of fun programs that my daughter wanted to go every day. The only thing I feel it needs improvement is the entertainment. Norwegian has acrobatics and comedy play. But Carnival seems to only have singing, dancing and talk show, which are not attractive to me.

Cindy since the beginning was awesome. Guiding me. Calling back on time. Calling just to check everything was good. She walked the extra mile for us. She really deserves not a 10 but a 11. Thanks Cindy. 

In regards of the cruise. Carnival should have an option (language)in the literature or pamphlets they give daily. The client get the choice of language preference to get their messages. We had a huge of latinos onboard from other countries that were saying the same thing. 

We were offered or promised about a credit onboard. That we never got. Going several times to guest service. Awaiting for the answer from central. And at the end saying that it was deleted. A group of 13 persons in my case that got dissatisfied, disappointed. 

The quality of the Indian food on board at Tandoor was excellent. Crew was helpful and courteous.

Coffee and tea quality was very disappointing. I do not know why, given all other aspects of the cruise.   

Yo no soy de cruceros,  pero el personal  o crew  fueron muy atentos  como  los meseros Bernard y su compañero Hyber,  O Victor, Carlor, Putton  me gustaba los shows de baile de los meseros...lo  mismo  en el buen servicio a los que limpiaban el cuarto y si necesitabamos algo, hay mismo lo solucionaba, Maria o Charles ,,los nombres que me acuerdo ahora.. lo que me gustaria que mejoraran en algo ,,es que estubieran updates los articulos que uno compra y devuelve o  las toallas que le prestan en las picsinas.  para evitar esa fil apor la manana  en el check in  para que le arreglen la factura.

This was a great cruise, and we were looking for one over the holidays with a similar itinerary. The time we arrived and left from ports were a bit wonky, but we made it work. We had never travelled with Carnival before and there were some pluses and minuses with Carnival, but overall it was good. In fact, the room we had 1269 was the biggest we've ever stayed in, and comfortably held 2 adults, a 13 year old and a 10 year old. 

Ordered alcohol for the room and I was sent a receipt that the order would be there, it was not . I had to go to the desk no less than a dozen times and stand in line to get things straightened out. By the time I got things straightened out I had to pay additional money, lost several hours on two days fixing problem. No one ever contacted me as promised, it was always left up to me to fix problem.the next problem we incurred was internet, it was terrible and most times unusable, money was returned I believe on the 3rd or 4th day, but again had to waste large amounts of my time.most of my excursions were booked previous to going, but I did book one excursion thru the ship, definitely over priced, rushed and I wish I would have not even bothered. The ones I booked on my own were much nicer and a great value for the price. The shows on the ship were greatly disappointing they were not very professional, I felt like I was at a school performance. I found embarkation and disembarkation was very disorganized, took too long, and not enough food service was provided on embarkation day....not everyone wants to belly up to all you can eat. The only persons who went out of their way to make for a pleasant cruise was the waiters when we dined nightly at the dining room, they did a wonderful job. In the future I will be sticking with NCL they know how to look after their guests! This is the 2nd time I have cruised with Carnival thought I would give them another chance, they blew it! As for my first cruise with them there were so many disappointed people 800 people got off the ship on the first port of call!! And Carnival did nothing to try and offer anything for compensation. Trust me cruise with NCL they are much better and so is just about any other cruise line!!!

8 days and great Itinerary for the Western Caribbean. Love the Mongolian Wok which is available at lunchtime. Very good food in dining room and Lido. Excellent

service by all! Wish it hadn't rained in Belize as this prevented us from getting off the ship. With such long piers at some ports, if local trams, bikes , something isn't made available, some of us aren't able to go to the port. Can't this be improved?
