Review summary

Initially I thought carnival is cheap so didn't expect much. It turned out that this one has the best food we ever tried on three different cruise lines. Casual or formal dining every night. The dining ball was always full. Free champion on embarkation. Lobster tail on the final night and a variety of seafood choices every night. Their 24 hour pizza was super thin and crispy. Love it. All the crew members were super warm and helpful. The carnival camp had lots of fun programs that my daughter wanted to go every day. The only thing I feel it needs improvement is the entertainment. Norwegian has acrobatics and comedy play. But Carnival seems to only have singing, dancing and talk show, which are not attractive to me.

Lots of storage. Nice view. Clean and comfortable.

Our flight leaves Miami at 7 PM. We took the shore excursion on hop on hop off tour. We did all 4 loops and stopped in South Beach and Little Havana. The tour company has several scheduled shuttles to send customers to the airport after the trip. The best part is that we dont need to worry about the luggage. It is well worth the dollar.

We took $100 round trip taxi to porte Marie. It is a natural beach , lots of stones, not comfortable to walk on. The ship arrived at 2 PM, or 3 PM local time. By the time we arrived at the beach and rented the snorkel, it was 5PM local time. The snorkel shop closed at 6. So we didnt have much time there.

Took a taxi to Pelican pier and booked a snorkeling tour with Sunshine. It was awesome . 2 snorkes and rope jumping. Fun for the family. The pier has lots of other activities: tubing, parasaling, jet skiing, kayak etc. Best beach in the whole trip.
