Review summary

My favorite cruise to date. I hope to return someday. The scenery is magnificent in its raw beauty. The wildlife is abundant and of wide variety. There just wasn’t enough time to take in everything.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
The embarkation was delayed due to norovirus outbreak on the previous cruise; they were following sanitation protocol. Completely understandable. The port was totally unorganized, though. Boarding order didn’t matter, there was confusion on protocols, bag drop offs, traffic flow, etc.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had the friendliest and most attentive staff we have ever had. I’ve never had bad service, but this was over the top.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Staff were constantly cleaning the ship. Splendor may be an older ship, but she is practically spotless.
