Overall Alaska is phenomenal. The scenery is breathtaking. Carnival was great as usual. Really the only way to see Alaska.

We just returned from Alaska as well. We did a Princess cruise. They have access to Glacier National Park and bring a naturalist on board to explain everything we saw. To say it was wonderful is an understatement. Honesty if you want to go to Alaska on a cruise do it. Though you still can not see it all. It is well worth it!! We are planning to go back.

Amyl - there is a catamaran excursion that takes you a lot closer to the face of the glacier. We’re planning to do that in August.

What excursion in Tracy Arm Fjord did you do? You mentioned get off the ship, I don’t show any excursions on my planner for it and I would like to research. Thank you.
