Review summary

This 7 day Mexican Riviera cruise was very nice.Although we opted for a balcony suite which gave us extra perks, everyone we spoke to enjoyed themselves no matter what travel class they chose. The entertainment and on-ship activities were good, the food didn't disappoint and the ship was clean (very important). It even had multiple hand sanitizer locations! The crew was very professional, pleasant and eager to help and that is not easy for people who spend months at sea trying to please guests.

Embarkation

Embarkaion was effortless due to reserving a suite

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room food was very good. There was a nice variety for each day the trip, meats fish and vegetarian choices. For the breakfast brunch I recommend going early as attention to quality starts to lack if you go later.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Although we didn't use them, there were a good number of activities for a 7 day cruise. You won't be bored!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
They were cruise quality, but the solo artists, singers and groups and the D.J. did not disappoint.

Children's Programs

Did not bring children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was pleasant, very eager to help and did everything they could to make the trip enjoyable.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
There were a few minor flaws but with it being a ship that goes in and out of port within a matter of hours, I think the ship was in good shape. Beyond that, I have no doubt that any concerns would have been quickly addressed.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The room was comfortable, room size and balcony size was great. The room was clean when we embarked and kept clean by our steward. She turned down our sheets every night and even left a little "towel animal" every night.

Ship tip

Try to reserve a suite. You get priority boarding on your first day and priority debarkation when leaving on your last day.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
Very clean.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
Nice place, no dock though, you need to take a shuttle to land.

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
Good, 4 stars because you need to take a water shuttle to land.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Ship goes right to dock, very modern here, there's even a Walmart here!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth and orderly with and without priority placement.
