Our cruise on the Carnival Splendor was wonderful. We had our 10 year old granddaughter with us and she had a great time. We never "heard I am bored". Carnival treated us very well and we look forward to our next cruise.

Review summary

Overall we enjoyed our cruise and so did our 10 year old granddaughter. She enjoyed the slide, shows and pool and Bingo. We really enjoy this ship.

Our room steward Mark and Plinky were excellent. They took great care of us. Our food waiters Jesus, Pema and Maynard were the best. We would definitely like to cruise with them again. Very attentive.

Ship Quality

The ship is definitely due for an overhaul. Some of the chairs needed repair and cleaning. We went on the Splendor in May of '09 and it certainly needs help now. We think the pink can go but we do like the ship.

The room could of had a few more feet for the 3 of us but it certainly was clean and Mark did a great job. We appreciated it.
