Review summary

We have cruised several times before and upon boarding the Splendor we realized we needed to lower our expectations if we were going to have a good week. The maintenance of the ship is very poor, rust is everywhere. The decor is worn out pink and black. The entertainment was poor (talented performers) but our first night of entertainment so many of the passengers actually got up a left before it was over. Very few on board activities, especially if you don't drink alcohol or want to gamble. Guest Services was excellent and very helpful. Rooms were cleaned well and regularly.

This ship is not well maintained, there is rust everywhere and the decor is pink and black. Entertainment is mediocre and there are few activities on board if you don't drink alcohol or want to play in the casino.

I agree some people just look for trouble and every little thing wrong. Enjoy your time on vacation. When someone starts the conversation by saying that we had to lower our expectations than you know what's coming a complaint section of the conversation. Some people will never be happy. I sailed on this ship and had a balcony cabin I thought the food was excellent the customer service was wonderful and the entertainment was great it's all of what you make of it.

On a cruise you make the fun you want to have . That ship is awesome we are going again for our third time in March. Amazing things to do . What do you expect the ritz . I agree with ginacc . Maybe cruising isn’t for you

Srsly. It's cruise, have fun. I'm sick of the complainers. Splendor is awesome, I had a great 2 weeks to Hawaii.
