This was our first cruise and we loved it. I would definitely do it again. If something is wrong talk to someone. The staff is always willing to help and make this the best experience for you.
Embarkation

Embarkation was easy except for 1rude guy who told us to go to desk 1 but we went to the wrong desk. So this guy starts yelling at us . Im traveling with my senior parents and children. He says I TOLD YOU TO GO TO DESK 5 NOT 1. I told him he shouldn't be rude and that we are sorry we didn't hear him properly. He starts heating up and starts yelling more. This was the start of my vacation and this guy made me feel that everyone was gonna be like him. He should not be working for carnival. I had to be pulled away by my family because they were worried he might hit me.

Food and Dining

The food was awesome. My son is celiac and everything he eats must be gluten free. The staff went above and beyond our expectations. Food was amazing, you can never be hungry on a cruise cause you're always stuffed. Our servers Soprano, Felix and Made were just amazing. We had tears the last night. They treat you so well it's like you're leaving your family forever.
Onboard Activities

Pools are a bit chilly. Our kids were freezing at times.
Entertainment

All the shows were fun. The piano bar was so good. Loved it. Just make sure to pick an earlier dinning time. Our dinner was at 8pm and we would miss a lot of shows or catch the tail end of it.
Children's Programs

The first day our kids went they got scared and did not want to go back because they said the lady yelled at them. So indent and spoke to them and they said they are very sorry and that they don't yell at kids only raise their voice a little. Anyways they ensured me and the kids that no one would yell at them. After that the kids loved it. I would go to get my son and he wouldn't want to leave. Oh and it's totally safe. We never leave our kids like we did on the splendor.

Absolutely amazing. Ruben was our room steward. Doesn't matter where we were in the hall he would always great us by name.

Cabins are very clean. Our room was very noisey. It was under a kitchen so it was loud the first night. We talked to Jeff the manager and he moved our families to other rooms and everything worked out no problem. Thanks Jeff you the man.
Ship tip
Get an early dinning time so you can enjoy the shows and entertainment after. Our time was 8pm and we wouldn't get out of there till 10pm.
I would of headed straight to his boss how dare he !!! Your the customer he’s the worker .. other wise its not the norm so hope ur next cruise is awesome and your hooked as we are 🎣..
