On the Splendor in September. The food was good some better than others. Great service all around. Hard to believe it changed that much. But I wasn't on your cruise. To each his own.

I won't be on the Splendor until April, but when I was on the Inspiration last November there was time in the MDR that my first entree selection was sub par. After one or two bites I just asked my waiter for one off the other entrees. I always found something that I really enjoyed each evening in the MDR. Just don't be too shy to asked for something else if you don't enjoy the first option. The buffet was okay .... But never thought it was good enough to recommend.

MDR seems good on all ships but buffet is usually only good for breakfast.

Ugh so sorry you had a terrible time. I was on the Splendor in July and we LOVED the ship! And the food was terrific.

I am not to excited about Carnival but we were on Splendor in December from Florida and I was pleased with it. You may have a new crew, etc. Ship was just relocated so they are glitches I am sure of that.
